Equipping Leaders

Recently I was invited to participate in a youth leader’s training conference in northern Argentina. A missionary couple and I traveled 1,600 miles one-way by car to visit a church in a northwest providence of the country called “La Rioja”. We were near the beautiful Andes Mountains bordering Chile. During the conference, we met with several churches in the area and met with their leaders to help them develop a vision for their youth ministry.

I was given the opportunity to preach before the congregation and youth several times over the weekend. During one meeting, two teenagers accepted Christ as their Savior! To my surprise they asked to share on a radio interview on a station that airs both locally and nationally! I thank God for this privilege to encourage youth leaders and help them form leadership, vision and a strategy to reach youth for Christ.
